The 10 best things about cats

I am a serious cat lover. Have been all my life.
I've had 7 cats since the age of 4: Whiskers, Pussums, Jordan, Ajax, Bud, Mickey & Fergus. I have found some, bought some and had some thrust upon me but they are all loveable. Each one has it's own personality - Whiskers was bitey; Pussums was huge (11kg) and liked to mark his territory (me!) often; Jordan had an S&M fetish; Ajax was stupid; Bud was too adventurous for his own good, in the game Cat vs Car, he lost, it's the type of game you can only lose once; Mickey is the slutty neurotic and Fergus (aka Fatguts, Fergustus Gloop, Fatty Fat Fat Fatty) is a bully!
I like dogs, they are fine. Mine is pretty cool. But give me a kitty and I melt. Our vet has 2 resident cats and 1 dog. I pat the dog, but I cuddle the kitties. Here are all the reasons why...
1. They are cuddly
2. They can be entertained by any household material - string, paper, foil, rubbish, fingers, toes, light, nothing...
3. They have a sense of the regal about them, like nobody is better than them. (I wish I felt like that sometimes)
4. Purring............ *sigh*
5. They are self cleaning
6. You do not have to walk around the yard dodging land mines
7. They sit on your lap (or chest) and keep you warm.
8. They can sense when something is NQR with you and they come and make it better.
9. The more you ignore them, the more they love you
10. In my house, they keep the dog on his toes!

Most people I know either love cats or hate cats, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground like there is with dogs. What do you think??

An absence of Logic

Knowing that I am not the most logical person in the world (understatement
of the CENTURY!!) I really don't understand why some people insist on making
things so overly complicated?!?

A few things I have discovered recently and my logical solutions.

1. If you don't like the way something is going, leave.

2. Manners cost nothing.

3. If everyone does their little bit, no one person has to do a big bit.


4. Incessantly following someone around, even thought the message that you
are not wanted has been given loud and clear and OFTEN, makes you a stalker.

5. Playing mind games with people makes you a turd.


6. Using my planning time to pay someone else back after they missed theirs
doesn't eliminate the problem - it just shifts it to another place (or person in
this case!)


7. I have a husband who I love more than life itself, so I really don't want
yours, no matter what other people might think or say.


8. It pays to have several unrelated groups of friends in case you need some
down time from one group.


9. If you invest everything you have in one area of your life, nothing else
can flourish, and you stand to lose everything.

10. SPELLING, PUNCTUATION AND GRAMMAR ARE IMPORTANT!


Live your life by this logic (or these logics??) - I can't guarantee absolute success but it works for me :)
